Droid

During my time at the GBA Bonn - I think it was 1996 - Ingo and I have developed a small computer game for a school work. Originally the teacher wanted us to develop a project written in C. But C was boring and so we have written the game Droid mainly in Assembler. I have developed a 2D graphic engine using the historical video mode Mode X, which was 320x400 with 256 colors. Ingo has written an event handler which allowed us to do simple multitasking. Only a very little part of this project was written in C, but the teacher was impressed enough to give us the best score.
