MetaGif converts Windows Metafiles to CompuServe Gif files. This
16 bit DLL allows image resizeing without distortion. With this
library you can create WEB documents on the fly, from your Windows
application. With MetaGif you can create a Gif file that is larger
than the screen.

This release includes the following files:

metagif.dll 16 bit dynamic link library
      readme.txt
main.bas Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 module
test.frm Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 form
test.exe Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 example program
test.mak Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 make file
      anchor.wmf Windows Metafile
      coins.wmf Windows Metafile

The Visual Basic program is a simple example using the MetaGif library.
This example runs all from one directory. The metagif.dll does
not need to be copied into your windows/system directory. The program
will convert the two Windows (placeable) Metafiles to CompuServe
Gif files. This Visual Basic program also needs vbrun300.dll if you
don't have it already.

The conversion from Metafile to Gif is fast, but conversion time
is directly proportional to the size of the Gif file.

MetaGif is a fully functional Shareware program. If you find MetaGif
useful and want to continue to use it, you are required to register
each copy. Each copy is $20, please mail a check to our company address.

The $20 will also give me incentive to make a 32 bit version.
