GENERAL

Wine Log is a program for amature winemakers to track thier wines, keep a printed log of each wine's progress, and in the end print labels for your bottles. To use this program you will need Windows 3.1, an SVGA monitor 600 X 800, and a printer (colour is best). I hope to add a cellar list to the program as well as several different types of label in the near future. Wine Log is designed to use Avery labels 3 1/3" X 4" Ink Jet Labels. These labels can be used in any printer with a cut sheet feeder and come off easily in warm water.

INSTALLATION

This program requires two files VWLOG141.ZIP and VWLOG142.ZIP. Unzip the files onto two seperate disks and then install as you would any Windows program using File/Run a:\SETUP.EXE. It can also be installed by creating two seperate subdirectories called DISK1, unzip VWLOG141.ZIP into this one, and DISK2, unzip VWLOG142.ZIP into this one. Then use File/Run c:\disk1\SETUP.EXE.

IMPORTING FROM PRESVIOUS VERSION

If you have a previous version of Wine Log you will be happy to know that you can import the old database into this version. You will be asked to locate the file WINELOG.DBF during the installation process. Just indicate where this file is when asked (usually c:\winelog\winelog.dbf) and it will be setup immediately.

REGISTRATION

Vintners Wine Log is distributed as Shareware. This means that users are encouraged to share copies of this program with friends, associates and bulletin boards. Please remember that if you continue to use this software you are required to pay the registration fee of $10 (registration.txt).

I would appreciate any and all comments on this programs, especially ways to improve it.
