Subject: Viewer Stores/Exports FX? Images in High Resolution

Situation:
==========
Exporting a fax image from the WinFax Viewer to a graphic file
(for example, PCX) will always export the image in High (Fine) Resolution
regardless of the resolution setting when the file was printed to WinFax.

Solution:
=========
WinFax always creates all fax images in high resolution. When you print
from an application to WinFax, the resulting .FXD (or .FXS) files are stored
in high resolution. When an image is exported from the Viewer, it is always
exported in high resolution.

Notes: When sending a fax, if the actual send resolution is low, then
        WinFax will skip every other scan line as it sends the page data,
        effectively converting the high resolution page image into a low
        resolution page.

        This is why fine horizontal lines sometimes disappear (on the
        receiving end) when sending a Low Resolution fax, but remain
        visible in the Viewer on the sending side.

        When the WinFax Viewer opens a .FX? image, it always displays it in
        "high" resolution. If the page data happens to be a low resolution
        .FXR (from a low resolution page reception), then the Viewer
        automatically doubles up the low resolution scan lines, effectively
        converting the low resolution page image to "high" resolution.
