Subject: MAPI Offline Message Composition Not Allowed from WinFax

Situation:
==========
If you invoke MS-Mail while offline (that is, without pre-establishing the
network connection), the software allows messages to be composed for future
transmission when a connection is established.

If WinFax PRO 4.0 is invoked to compose messages offline, the software
reports that the network connection has not been established and refuses
the login.

Solution:
=========
WinFax PRO 4.0 requires that the mail system be connected before messages
can be sent to mail addresses. This is a limitation of the current MAPI
implementation. MS-Mail offline message composition uses options in the
MS-Mail program that WinFax PRO 4.0 does not support.

To work around this limitation:

1. Add the required recipients to your WinFax phonebook. In the New
    Recipient dialog, for each recipient:

    - click Find to define the mail address in the Connections section
    - select Mail as the setting in the Send From section.

2. To compose a mail message offline, drag the recipient names from the
    phonebook to the Send icon. Leave the time to send as Now.

3. WinFax attempts to send the mail and prompts you to login to your mail
    system. If you cancel the login screen, the mail event remains in your
    Outbox. The next time you login to your mail system, WinFax sends the
    pending mail event automatically.
