This .ZIP contain Win32S 1.20 (build 123), the last version of Win32s,
with OLE 2.0 32S, that allow running Win32 apps with OLE 2.0,
and a Win32 small application, WHELLO.EXE

They are now somes software that run with Win32S : Adobe Photoshop 3.0,
NCSA Mosaic (the famous World Wide Web internet browser), WinZip NT,
PixFolio for Windows NT.

For checking the version of Win32s on your system, search the line
Version= in the [Win32s] of the file WIN32S.INI in your SYSTEM Windows
subdirectory. If you have the 1.20 version, you'll read :
Version=1.20.123.0

Like VBRUNx00.DLL and COMMDLG.DLL, Win32s is redistributable software
from MicrosoftTM.
Win32s licence agreement allow us distribute Win32s only as part as a
Win32 software. You'll find in this ZIP WHELLO, a minimal Win32 application

Win32s require Windows or Windows/Workgroup 3.1 or 3.11 running in
386 enhanced mode with 4 Mb of memory, and a swap file (temporary or
permanent) is needed.

For install Win32s, run SETUP.EXE under Windows, with no other Windows
application running.

Somes screen drivers seem have problem with Win32s. If you have problem, try
with VGA (640x480 16 colors) driver from Microsoft Windows floppy.
They are support about Win32s on MSWIN32 forum of CompuServe.

Note : you need unzip this file with PKUNZIP -D or the excellent
WinZip utility, and recreate the DISK1, DISK2 and DISK3 directory on
your hard disk. After, run SETUP.EXE from the DISK1 directory.

If the problem persist, check you have the last version of your video driver.

A note about my shareware WinImage (WINIMA.ZIP in WinShare CompuServe forum,
or WINIMA20.ZIP in win3/util direcotry on ftp.cica.indiana.edu and mirror).
In the version 2.0 of WinImage, they are both Win16 version (WINIMAGE.EXE) and
Win32 version (WINIMANT.EXE). Actually (WinImage 2.0), the Win32 version run
under Win32s, but can't read/write/format floppy. I suggest using Win16 version
under Windows 3.1 and Win32 version under Windows NT.
