Welcome to the Calendar Template creation program for Aldus
PageMaker 5.0!

(Aldus and PageMaker are trademarks of Adobe, of course.)

Install the files in this archive to the following places:

CAL.EXE in the ALDUS subdirectory (or its equivalent
on your system, way down deep in what on my
                  system is C:\ALDUS\USENGLSH\ADDITION\TEMPLATE\
CALDATES. In any case, put CAL.EXE in the
same directory with the mmm_yyyy.TXT files
that are the calendar templates shipped with
                  PageMaker.

MSAFINX.DLL in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM. If you have a newer
version, don't overwrite it...use the one
                  you already have.

SPIN.VBX in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM. Same caveat applies.

VBRUN300.DLL in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM. Again, same caveat.

Basically this program grew out of getting tired of reading
messages on the PAGEMAKR mailing list that went "Where can I
get the calendar templates for 199x?" Actually the calendar
templates are quite easy to write yourself, but try telling
that to people.

Instructions for using the program appear at all times when
using it...I mean, how hard is it to set a month and a year
and hit an Execute button?

There is one known bug and it is too non-trivial to fix for
free. Your International date settings must be MDY or the
program throws back an error. 98% of American users will
thus not be affected.

The program is freeware and may be freely distributed, but
note that it IS copyrighted.

A Macintrash version is NOT contemplated.
