INSTALLATION:

Operating features of the PCX-To-DXF Conversion program REQUIRE that
it be run under Windows 3.1 or later in the enhanced mode.

The PCX-To-DXF program works best with Super VGA running at 800 x 600
resolution. However, it HAS been tested with Windows running standard
VGA at 640 x 480 resolution. This is a Visual Basic program and requires
VBRUN200.DLL to be installed in the WINDOWS or WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory.

1. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A COPY OF VBRUN200.DLL ON YOUR SYTEM:

  a. If you have a disk copy, copy VBRUN200.DLL from the disk
to your WINDOWS or WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  b. If you have downloaded the PCXTODXF.ZIP file from an on-line service,
download a copy of VBRUN200.DLL, too. Usually it's stored as
      VBRUN200.ZIP.

2. From Disk:

PCX-To-DXF conversion uses a standard Windows installation program. The
program comes on a single high-density (1.44Mbyte) 3-1/2 inch disk.
Place the disk in your 3-/12-in. drive. From the Windows Program
Manager File Menu, select RUN... Type A:\SETUP and press the Enter
key. The automatic install program prompts you for any changes, like
hard drive or directory. When complete, the install program creates
a new File-Manager Group containing the PCX-To-DXF Icons. A special
PCX-format file: RYANTEST.PCX is included so you can test the output
with a large-size file -- the non-registered version, while full
featured, is limited to PCX images no larger than 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches.

If you are new to Windows, select the program's Help menu and then
select How To Use Help for basic operation of Windows programs.
For information on the PCX-To-DXF conversion, select Contents from
the Help pull-down menu. Or, simply press function-key F1.

3. From A ZIPped Download:

Copy PCXTODXF.ZIP into a temporary directory on your hard drive. UNZIP the
file with an UNZIPping program. Copy the UNZIPped programs to a 1.44 Mbyte
floppy disk. Then, follow the above "From Disk" installation instructions.

OR:
To install directly from your hard drive, UNZIP the program to a
temporary directory. Follow the "From Disk" installation procedure above,
but run SETUP from that directory on your hard drive. When the installation
is complete, delete all of the PCX-To-DXF installation files from the
temporary hard-disk directory.(Your may wish to save this file to your
installed directory for future reference)
