                      --------------------------------

This README file contains imformation about MRead.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. Installation
2. How to register MRead

 1. INSTALLATION
----------------

Well if you're reading this file you must have allready unpacked
the mread*.zip file. You must have the following files:

          README (This file)
BWCC.DLL (The Borland Custom Control Library, used by MRead)
          MREAD.EXE (The windows executable)
          BORTE.FON (Font used by MRead)
          MREAD.HLP (The windows help file)
CHORDS.MX (Chords file used by MRead)
M.ZIP (Lots of lyrics & chords)
          REGFORM.TXT (The registration form)

If you want to use the M files create the M directory (md M) and unzip
file M.ZIP in it. Now you can start MREAD.EXE from Windows 3.1 or greater.
Note: first thing you'll probably do is click R (reindex) button.

 2. HOW TO REGISTER MREAD
-------------------------

                        **************************
                        *** MRead is SHAREWARE ***
                        **************************

This means that you are free to distribute only unaltered and complete copies
of the program (i.e. ALL files MUST be included with any distribution of
MRead).

If you like MRead and want to keep it you must register your copy.
The easiest way to do this is by printing out and filling in the
Registration Form (see REGFORM.TXT) and sending it with an International
Postal Money Order for 10.00 US dollars to the address below. If you're
ordering MRead from Slovenia you can send a cheque for 1000 SIT.

NOTE: There are some limitations in unregistered version - annoying
reminder screen, only first 50 *.M are processed and "Unregistered MRead"
message is appended in every file. If there is enough interest I will
produce a much improved version (I have some ideas, any suggestions
welcome!), and send it out free to registered users.

Please try to make the effort to register. Doing so will encourage me improve
MRead and to produce more quality Windows products (suggestions welcome!).

Please send any comments, suggestions, criticisms(?) about MRead to:

        Tine Kurent
        Igriska 14
        61000 Ljubljana
        SLOVENIA

Or preferably send e-mail to:
