License Agreement

Desktop Information licenses (not sells) this software to you.  You may not 
make any changes or modifications to the software.  You may not decompile, 
disassemble, or otherwise reverse engineer this software.

Please read the following information carefully.  By registering Kwik 
Knowledge, you indicate your acceptance of the terms of the Desktop 
Information registered version license agreement.


Unregistered Version License Agreement
--------------------------------------
You are licensed to use this software for evaluation purposes for a period 
of 30 days.  If you use the software after the 30 day period, a registration 
fee of $49.95 (US funds) must be paid to:

When sending payment, please use the included order form for faster 
processing.  

When Desktop Information receives your payment, you will receive your 
registration password via CompuServe Mail.  You will also receive, via US 
Mail, a copy on diskette with a written confirmation of registration and a 
registration password.

A unique password is assigned to each CompuServe user ID.
Please include your CompuServe ID with your order so that we may assign
you a password.


Registered Version License Agreement
------------------------------------
Once registered, Desktop Information licenses you to use this software in 
one of the following ways (not both):  a)  A single user may use this 
software on one or more computers -or-  b)  Multiple users may use this 
software on a single computer, but not simultaneously (as in multi-user 
systems).

This software may be installed on a network provided that a license has been 
purchased for each individual workstation that will be used to run the 
software.

Site licenses may be negotiated with Desktop Information at the above 
address.


Distribution
------------
You may freely distribute the original unregistered version to other users, 
online services and electronic bulletin boards.  Shareware disk vendors are 
encouraged to sell disks containing the original unregistered version.


Disclaimer
----------
Desktop Information does not warrant that this software will meet your 
requirements or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted or 
error free.

THIS SOFTWARE AND ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD AND DISTRIBUTED "AS IS" 
WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER

Desktop Information shall not in any case be liable for special, incidental, 
consequential, indirect or other similar damages arising from the use of
