*****************************************************************************

Introduction *****************************************************************
When I saw "nyan characters" on Mr. alty's terminal, my brain just melted.
I just couldn't get over it so I made a version that runs on my Windows
- Slimy Characters. But when I finished it, I found out it was totally
different...

Requirements *****************************************************************
	Hardware:
	    80386 or higher machine
	    4MB or more RAM memory
	Software:
	    MS-Windows3.1 or higher
VBRJP200.DLL	Visual Basic Runtime Ver.2.0(Japanese version)
	    ESOCSC1.VBX

Liability ********************************************************************
The author and the developer of this software will not take any
responsibilities for any damages that may occur with the use of this software.
The files contained in SURAC.LZH file are distributed "as is" and without
any expressed and implied warranties. The user assumes the entire risk of
using the software.

Included Files ***************************************************************
The following files are included in the SURAC.LZH file:
	SURACHAR.EXE	Slimy Character execution file
README.TXT	Introduction (the file you are reading right now)

Installation *****************************************************************
Copy the VBRJP200.DLL and ESOCSC1.VBX files to the \WINDOWS directory.
Execute the SURACHAR.EXE file from Windows by using either the File Manager
or the Program Manager.
If you desire to have Slimy Characters loaded every time Windows is started,
add the SURACHAR.EXE to the Start-up group (^_^).

How to Use *******************************************************************
  1.Running and Ending Slimy Characters
Execute the SURACHAR.EXE file from Windows by using either the File
Manager or the Program Manager. Enter:
		SURACHAR [Characters to be displayed]
If Characters to be displayed are not entered, Slimy Character will
display the default characters - Slimy.
To exit Slimy Characters, double-click anywhere in the window.

If Slimy Characters window is minimized, a slime will hop inside
	the icon.
  2.System Menu
SetUp...	Temporary change characters to be displayed.
Redisplay	Redisplay characters from the beginning.

Not a Bug! *******************************************************************
Sometime, a slime goes astray. Its actually should be recognized as a bug,
but I like the way it is, so I pronounce it as part of my program
specification. There also seems to be some lazy slimes, but they are also
part of the program specification. (^_^)/

Just Between You and Me ******************************************************
If you click on a slime, they will bleed internally and turn red. There
just might be some that are strong enough to not bleed...
There also are some slimes that are hiding within the window. Try to find
them. If you strike them (click on them), they just might bleed.
(^_^;) Seems like another bug.

WARNING:
Slimy Characters uses a timer event. If several Slimy Characters are
opened at once, the system just might crash. On my environment, the
maximum number of Slimy Characters windows I can open at once is 6.
Anyway, to be on the safe side, please DO NOT OPEN SEVERAL SLIMY
	CHARACTERS WINDOWS AT ONCE.
