8/07/95: Version 1.00

Puzzler is a simple jigsaw puzzle program which allows you to read in .BMP
files, and then create jigsaw puzzles out of them. The jigsaw puzzle
can then be assembled, with a timer and score indicating how adept you are.
Puzzles can be saved at any time, and then replayed at a later time from
the point at which they were saved.

To create a new puzzle -
o select File->New Picture, and pic the .BMP file you want to load.
o select File->New Puzzle, and then fill out the new puzzle dialog:
o Select the approximate number of pieces you want, and the type of
puzzle pieces you want. Tabbed pieces look like normal jigsaw puzzle
pieces, while rectangular pieces are precisely what they sound like.
o At any time you can use File->Save or File->Save As to save your
      puzzle in its current state.

Puzzler is available for several platforms. This version of puzzler,
version 1.00, is not terribly well fleshed out, but the basic functionality
is there. Puzzler's versions are:

    puzz16.exe -- Windows 3.1 version of Puzzler
    puzznti.exe -- Windows NT 3.5 x86 (i386) version of Puzzler
Other NT versions available upon request

Future enhancements may include:
        - Hints to let you know where a piece that will connect to what
          you're dragging.
        - The ability to rotate puzzle pieces, and to have them mixed in
different 90-degree rotations when the puzzle is generated.
        - Help menus.
        - A high-score and glory screen.
        - A *gasp* printed manual.
        - More puzzle-like perspective to let you see where pieces have gone.
        - Additional types of puzzles.

Puzzler is shareware. You can support it by filling out 00order.frm and
sending the appropriate amount (probably $12).
