VBRUN300.DLL
------------
Vbrun300.DLL is not distributed with the shareware version of
TestMaker5 and it is required for this file to be in your windows
system directory before the setup program will even initilize.
Vbrun300.DLL is the runtime library for visual basic, since most
of the TestMaker5 software was written in this programming language
by Microsoft the runtime library is required. You can find
Vbrun300.dll on most BBS and commerical online services.

SHARE
-----
It is required that you have share.exe loaded before running
TestMaker5. the following line should be added to your
autoexec.bat:

	C:\dos\Share.exe /L:500

Share should be located in your DOS directory, if the file is
not there you should reinstall DOS. If you are running TestMaker5
from a network then you probably don't have to load share because
it is already loaded.

DEMO QUESTIONS
--------------
If every option was set in the DEMO test the TMAKER5.MDB would
be to large to distribute with the Shareware Version. If you need
more examples of test questions that include the use of FLIs and
WAVs you should call our Support BBS at (304)366-2252. We have
many other example test modules that you can download and use.

WMF File Format
---------------
TestMaker5 will load the WMF file format for a test question.
Howerver you will not be able to preview the picture using the
preview button because the picture display is stretched to a full
screen and the it will seem as though the picture is not there.
When you design the question screen you will be able to see the
image you have selected.

Previous Versions Of TestMaker
------------------------------
TestMaker5 is not compatible with any earlier versions of
TestMaker. Because of the many alterations and upgrades of the
software it was impossible to make the software compatible.
However we see no problem with making future versions
reverse compatible with TestMaker5.

Compacting Your Database
------------------------
It is important that you have enough space to have two copies of your
database on your hard disk when compressing. Once the compression
process is complete the old database will be deleted unless you have
the backup options enabled.

Optional Uses For Modules
-------------------------
You can create test modules for each subject that you are giving tests on
and delete the questions form the main database. Once you are done using
the test Module you can back it up to tape or floppy disk. This will
allow you to keep a large amount of test modules without using a large
amount of free space on your hard disk.

Putting large modules on Floppy Disk...
---------------------------------------
When you wish to place a module on a floppy disk and you do not have
enough space on the diskette you can use the -& option with PKZIP.
This will allow you to zip the file to several disks. An example of this
is as follows:
	PKzip a:\tmaker5.MDB tmaker5.MDB -ex -@

this will zip the file tmaker5.mdb to a: and it will ask you to insert
extra disks if they are needed. Make sure to label the disks correctly so
when uncompressing these files you will need them in order. To learn more
about this you should refer to your PKware documenation.

Downloading Modules from GAMING 101
-----------------------------------
We will try to put as many test modules as possible on our support
BBS for users to download. We ask that if you download a module and
it is useful to you then upload one in return for other users to
have.

PRINTING
--------
Any printer options will print to the window's default printer.
