Microsoft Access
Relational Database Management System for Windows
version 2.0

"Microsoft Access is the easiest to use database for managing, presenting and
sharing your information, providing a single solution for all levels of users
in your organization."

What distinguishes Microsoft Access from typical databases is a simple design
philosophy. A full-featured database should be easy to use--no matter who's
using it. That's why, whether you're a beginner, an old hand, or a developer,
you'll find that Microsoft Access makes it easy to get the results you want.
Because it's easy to use and full-featured, it's the one database everyone in
your organization can agree on.

No other database is easier to use.
------------------------------------------
* More than 30 Wizards simplify complex tasks and make routine tasks
  automatic.

* Table Wizard designs your tables for you, so that new users can get working
fast and developers can get on with other jobs.

* Command Button Wizard creates command buttons for you-- instead of writing
code, you just answer a few questions, and the Wizard does the rest.

* Cue Cards provides step-by-step instruction right alongside the task you're
working on-- it's like having your own tutor.

You can manage your data fast and easy.
--------------------------------------------------
* Rushmore technology makes query performance up to 100 times faster than with
Microsoft Access version 1.0, so you can get answers more quickly.

* AutoForm and AutoReport let you create professional-looking data entry forms
and high-quality reports with a single click of the mouse.

* Quick Sort speeds and simplifies data sorting--just click the buttons on the
  toolbar.

Sharing Information is easy.
----------------------------------
* Analyze It and Publish It buttons let you click once to send data to
Microsoft Excel or Word automatically for analysis, inclusion on a report,
  or mail merging.

* Mail Merge Wizard automatically works with Microsoft Word to take the
aggravation out of mail merges. Select the data you want to merge, the
document you want to mail, and Microsoft Access sets up everything for you.

* OfficeLinks with object linking and embedding (OLE) let you add spreadsheets
from Microsoft Excel and documents from Word to your database-and edit them
 from within Microsoft Access.

Powerful tools for custom solutions.
----------------------------------------------
* Full-featured development environment, including an integrated debugger and
the event-driven Access Basic programming language.

* Precise control over events and properties helps you build first-class,
  bulletproof applications.

* Referential integrity with cascading updates and deletes helps you preserve
the integrity of your data: updating a customer ID will automatically change
  records in all related tables.
