PNG support - supports the new PNG format which gives high compression ratios and supports a wide variety of image types. Uses adaptive filtering to provide best compression. Many other formats - Windows BMP, Silicon Graphics, SUN Raster, PhotoShop 2.5, Zsoft PCX, Portable Pixmap, Targa. Image Processing - Contrast, Brightness, Gamma, Colour conversion (Floyd-Steinberg, ordered and flat-cut dithering), Random Noise, Pixel Scattering, Blurring, Sharpening, Edge detection, embossing, Flip, Rotate, Resize/Resample, Equalization, Normalization and user defined filter matrix (registered version only). Versions: Shareware - restricted 16-bit and 32-bit versions with an evaluation period of 30 days. Registered - Two types, Development and end user. Both include the fully functional unrestricted 16-bit and 32-bit DLLs as well as host applications demonstrating the functions of the DLL and free maintenance upgrades. The development version also includes full code to the example applications and more control over the inner workings of the DLL. The development version is US$50, the end user version is US$10. See the file orderfrm.txt for ordering details. NB: The 32-bit version of the DLL is two to three times faster than the 16-bit DLL if run in the correct environment. Also the 32-bit DLL has some coding advantages due to the nature of Win32. Also Windows 95 does not seem to run the 16-bit version correctly, however the 16-bit version does work under Windows 3.1 and Windows NT.
